Surprise no more...
The world cup football tournament has been nothing less than a package of surprises. Argentina who started well lost mid way. Brazil the eternal favourites beaten by France, a team which never looked like making it. Portugal beating England, a team consisting of highly reated players sych as Beckham and Rooney, and then Italy who were no where near to being favoutrites showing Germany the way out, setting the stage for a Italy Vs France title clash.
France will definitely go into the match as favourites with Zidane showing his class in the recent matches, specially when he played with the Brazilian defense. Italy on the other side are clearly the Dark horses of the tournament besting Germany 2-0, to the final. It would be no upset if they managed to pull of a victory considering what has occured throughout the tournament. Even though that seems unlikely considering Zidane's form.
Here's a situation where people are actually having a hard time betting on who is going to win.
Another doubt that lingers is the Goldent Boot award. Zidane will face stiff competition from Klose who has had a memorable tournament.
So will Zidane do it again? Will Italy manage to topple the favourite again?
No matter who wins... it is hardly going to cause any surprises as surprises are caused only when you expect something to happen definitly. This lead me to belive in the saying even more - expectations lead to surprises and grief.
